Having won the toss, India put Pakistan to bat first in the ICC Champions Trophy finals. Pakistan started strong but they ended the innings even stronger. They managed to post a huge total of 338 runs losing only 4 wickets.
India was already in a huge pressure and then Mohammad Amir came out with the new ball swinging in multiple directions. The Indian batsmen could not handle the pressure. Credit goes to Pakistan for putting this pressure on the Indian team. Pakistan managed to beat mighty India by a whopping 180 runs totally outclassing them. The Indian team was bowled out for 158 runs.
Many Indian fans had a lot to say about the team’s pitiable performance. Many of them were upset, many were disappointed and others were outright angry. Paresh Rawal also decided to put his two cents about the game on Twitter.
After having lost 6 wickets by some seventy-odd runs, India was almost done. However, Hardik Pandya and Kedar Jadhav didn’t think it was over. They started hitting the ball hard. Hardik Pandya even scored 23 runs in an over bowled by Shadab Khan. He worked really hard and scored 76 in just 43 balls. In fact, he was pretty disappointed after being run out and he didn’t shy away from showing that at all. The moment certainly required Jadeja to give away his wicket as Pandya was literally looking to take the game in control with some mighty shots effortlessly.
Ravindra Jadeja appeared lazy throughout his inning. He was missing out on easy singles. This contrast of attitude spurred Paresh Rawal. He trolls on Twitter comparing Pandya-Jadeja where he deliberately insulted Jadeja’s performance.
However, it was later found out that the account, from which the Tweet was made, was in fact, a fake account. The real Paresh Rawal didn’t say any such thing.
